LINCOLN, Neb. -- Die-hard Nebraska football fans who fill Memorial Stadium in Lincoln to capacity at every home game will soon be watching replays, ads and tunnel walks on new high-definition screens. The University of Nebraska Board of Regents unanimously approved a $6.25 million plan put forward by Husker Athletics to replace the stadiums 10-year-old screens, the Lincoln Journal Star reported (http://bit.ly/2g6mKhZ ) Friday.Funds to pay for replacing the screens will come entirely from athletic department revenues, not state tax dollars, NU President Hank Bounds said.Replacement parts for the current screens are no longer available, and each is at risk of failure, he said.Signs of failure have been appearing to fans this season, Bounds said. We believe our fans deserve and expect a high quality experience in this historic venue. The high-definition screens will replace each of the existing screens in the stadium, including a giant, 117-foot by 33-foot screen towering over north end of the stadium, four smaller screens located in the corners of the stadium, and ribbon boards stretching across the east and west stadium decks.Bounds said the video screens are an important asset to Husker Athletics marketing partner, IMG College, and are critical to supporting sponsor revenue. In fact, the video boards easily pay for themselves as a result of the licensing revenue generated by UNLs agreement with IMG College, he said. The athletic department estimates the new video boards will last 10 years.---Information from: Lincoln Journal Star, http://www.journalstar.comLarry Csonka Womens Jersey . -- PGA TOUR Canada member Steve Saunders took a three-stroke lead Saturday in the Web. Its pretty definitive for us in our position. As to whether Boshs NBA career is over, Riley told reporters, Thats up to him.The Heat said Friday that Bosh would not be allowed to participate in their preseason training camp after failing a physical. The Heat declined to explain why Bosh failed the physical and cited a clause in the collective bargaining agreement that prohibits the team from releasing certain medical information.Speaking in a videotaped segment published online Friday, Bosh called the failed physical a down moment right now while pledging that everything would work out.Just because the journey has ups and downs doesnt mean I will stop sharing with you guys, Bosh said. So I will just continue to share despite whats going on.Bosh, 32, faced the first of two bouts with blood clots in February 2015. One that was believed to have formed in one of his legs traveled to a lung and caused problems so severe that he needed to be hospitalized for several days. He recovered and was averaging 19.1 points per game last season when the second bout with clots began in February -- though the ones discovered then did not cause health issues anywhere near as serious as what he dealt with in 2015.Everybody knows how much CB means to me and his family, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said Monday. I love CB dearly. It was tough to watch CB and his family go through this the last couple years. Your heart just goes out to him.In statements released in recent days, Bosh said he is ready to play and was written off by the team when the second bout with clots began. Riley strongly denied that assessment, saying the team worked to clear Bosh.We headed down the road very excited to a point where we thought it would work, Riley said. And then the physical couldnt clear him to the next step. The Heat were flying to the Bahamas on Monday forr Tuesdays start of training camp.dddddddddddd Riley said Bosh will not be on that trip.Bosh is Miamis highest-paid player, set to earn $75.8 million over the next three seasons. His money is guaranteed, though the Heat can get salary-cap relief in February 2017 from the bulk of that amount if Bosh doesnt return to the court. In February, an independent doctor agreed on by the team and Bosh would examine him. If the doctor agrees, Bosh would be declared disabled and become a free agent and his salary would be removed from the Heats books. If Bosh were to sign with another team and played 10 games, the Heat would be responsible for his salary again.Riley said financial considerations arent playing a role in the Heats decision-making.We never, ever thought about that, Riley said. If we didnt care about Chris, we would have played him in the playoffs. With Bosh out of the mix, that means 11 of the 19 players who got minutes for the Heat last season are no longer with the team. Of the starters from Miamis last game -- Game 7 of the Eastern Conference semifinals in Toronto -- only Goran Dragic and Justise Winslow remain, with Dwyane Wade, Luol Deng and Joe Johnson all signing elsewhere this summer. Were rebuilding, Riley said. But were rebuilding to win now, and thats always been our attitude.Wade said on Monday of Bosh, This news about basketball is unfortunate, and it was not nothing that he wanted to hear Im sure, and nothing I wanted to hear for him and no one that loves Chris or is around him. Its another bump in the road in life that, from a basketball standpoint, Chris Bosh will figure out what he wants to do in life. But as his friend, Im happy for him that his quality of life, his everyday, is good and thats not a concern. After seven seasons with the Raptors, Bosh signed with the Heat before the 2010-11 season. He, Wade and?LeBron James formed the Heats Big Three that went on to make four NBA Finals and win two titles.Bosh, an 11-time All-Star, has averaged 19.1 points and 7.4 rebounds in his career.Information from ESPN senior writer Brian Windhorst and The Associated Press contributed to this report.
